“Promoting the wellness, dignity, and independence of Sarasota’s seniors at home!”

Affordable Home Care Solutions for Seniors

Our mission is to promote the health, dignity, mobility, independence, and personal fulfillment of our clients in their chosen residential setting, and to maximize their and their loved ones’ overall sense of wellness and security. In other words, our goal is to help our clients maintain their life at home, safely, comfortably, and independently, for as long as possible. However, we understand that realistically many people do not have unlimited funds to pay for home care. There are several options available to help pay for long-term home care and to help your loved one remain in his or her own home. Feel free to call us to discuss our affordable home care solutions for seniors with a live person!

Personal Savings & Family Funds

Frequent visits by one of our care providers, for even relatively short periods each day, can help ensure that you or your loved one continues to thrive independently at home. The use of personal savings or other family funds can help support this type of plan, and help delay the need for other, more costly alternatives.

Long-Term Care Insurance

For those with this coverage, long-term care insurance helps cover the cost of senior care at home or in a nursing facility. It frequently can cover much of the cost of home care, depending on the policy’s terms and conditions. Care Providers at Home works with most long-term care insurance companies. So please, be sure to find out if your loved one has a policy and discuss the policy during our initial in-home consultation. Your Care Providers at Home representative will be happy to assist you to initiate a claim with your insurance company.

Reverse Mortgages

If you or your loved ones own their own home, and have equity in their home, it’s more than likely you can qualify for a reverse mortgage. A reverse mortgage is a loan against your home that does not have to be paid back for as long as you live there. With a reverse mortgage, you can turn the value of your home into cash without having to move or to repay the loan each month. These funds are then be available for home care services and other needed services or products. For more information on reverse mortgages, visit the Federal Trade Commission’s Consumer Information website.

Veterans Administration Pension

If you or your loved one is a veteran, and require the aid of another person in order to perform personal functions required in everyday living, you may qualify for Veterans Administration programs that reimburse veterans for home care. To learn more about these programs, please visit the Veterans Administration website. If you or your loved one is a veteran, your Care Providers at Home representative will discuss the VA benefit with you in more detail during our initial in-home interview, and will be happy to assist you to initiate a claim.

The majority of our clients are “private pay”, which means they submit payment directly to us each billing cycle. For your convenience, we accept payment by both checks and credit cards.
